Lansing Presents Opportunity for GM, and Hope for Firebird car buyers

Sixth-Generation Firebird Could Put Michigan Workers Back on the Job

When the sixth-generation Camaro production moves to Lansing, Michigan, and puts Michigan workers back on the job, we know one thing for sure.

Even more Michigan workers can go back to work if GM adds the Firebird to the Camaro's assembly line, like when the Firebird and Camaro were built on the assembly lines by GM workers in Norwood and Lordstown, Ohio, and Van Nuys, California.

C'mon GM. Give the people what they want. Put Michigan workers back on the job and give the public what it overwhelmingly is asking for—a new Firebird. Lansing is just the place to get it done!

What if Cadillac picked up the Firebird, Formula, and Trans Am name plates? Would you buy them? Since Pontiac was a classier product than Chevy and the chance the GM will bring back Pontiac is nearly zero and now that Cadillac is into performance, I think it would work.Sure its not a Pontiac. But if we could get a six gen T/A based on the Camaro (but much better) Why not?Cadillac Trans AM ---- I want one!

I would buy a new Firebird!
