The word is out that George Clooney has secured the role of John Z. DeLorean in the new major motion picture on DeLorean's life.
According to sources, Clooney was the favorite choice by the owner of DeLorean Motor Cars to portray the charismatic DeLorean.
There is no word yet whether the film will even cover DeLorean's Pontiac years or will attempt to sensationalize on his exploits after he left General Motors.
