T. Boone Pickens, the Texas oilman who is working to eliminate America's dependence on foreign oil is not the type of dignitary to just hop in the driver's seat of your GTO.

 But when he saw Marc McConville's compressed natural gas (CNG) GTO at a recent event, he just had to check it out first-hand.
