What is it?
SEMA and its councils have secured U.S. Senate Resolution, S. Res. 513, designating July 9th as "COLLECTOR CAR APPRECIATION DAY" as a means to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. Restoration businesses help save our nation’s heritage while providing well-paying, high-skilled jobs nationwide.
How will it be celebrated?
In recognition of the day, collectors and enthusiasts will be hosting events across the country. Car cruises, club gatherings, and other educational events will be scheduled for July 9 nationwide.
