That’s not a typo. LeaseTrader.com polled more than 1500 women across the country and found that 23.4 percent of women are now choosing to drive on the first date – a 30 percent increase from a year ago when 18 percent of female respondents said they'd be taking the wheel. Maybe it’s because women are increasingly taking a more active role in what they like to drive, or maybe it’s because they’re just in love with their vehicle (and not so sure yet about that date). Whatever the reason, LeaseTrader.com has evidence that times are a changin’ and it’s time for men to ride shotgun on the first date.

Well...I drove on my last date...but the date before that, she drove. I still think women like men to take control.
