(Wichita, Kan.) The largest city in Kansas will be transformed into one of the ultimate car, truck and motorcycle show venues during the BlackTop Nationals set for Aug. 26-29, 2010. The event is designed to be a memorable automotive experience while raising money for Wichita-based and national charities.
More than just a car show, BlackTop Nationals welcome the nation's top customizers and restoration experts to compete for a total purse of up to $100,000.00. Organizers project between 2,000-4,000 automobiles and 3,000-5,000 motorcycles with expected crowds to be over 100,000 for the four day event, that will line the historic streets of downtown Wichita.
We want to incorporate the best aspects of motorcycle rallies and car shows to create a national-quality event that the entire family can enjoy,? said Rick Nuckolls, BlackTop Nationals co-founder. ?The fact that it will take place in the middle of the country will make it easy to come from all points in the United States.
