Let's face it. Everybody in the Pontiac hobby wants to see a remake of Smokey and The Bandit! But, who could star in it?

Send us your cast list for who you'd like to see star in a remake of Smokey and the Bandit?

How about Burt Reynolds switching roles and becoming Sheriff Buford T. Justice?

How about sexy Megan Fox as "Frog"?

Billy Ray Cyrus as Snowman?

And the big one!!!! Who could do the Bandit as good as Burt Reynolds?

1. I don't think a remake would ever do justice to the original. Too many high expectations, no cool TA to go out and buy after watching, miss Fox is a little too trashy for Frog. I could go on and on, but basically you can't improve on perfection. Besides the only mamber of the original cast that could get a good stand-in is Snowman's Kenworth, KW still makes a great looking W900L!

2. Remakes are never as good as the original. Look at box office sales for the sequels.Who could ever replace the great one as sheriff Buford T Justice?Put an aging burt back in as bandit. Keep things real,for those of us who grew up with the bandit.The movie could mention the passing of the snowman (jerry read) and introduce a new character. James Best would be a good replacement for a sheriff, ( early Rosco type charter) butI think he's retired now.Use as many original cast members as possible and use a story line that reflecks that. Kind of like a reunion.

3. I would like to see a remake event though it could never be as good as the original. My personal choice for Bandit is Ryan Reynolds. I think it would be funny to see Burt play Buford T. Justice, but I don't think I'd want to see Megan Fox as Frog. I like her, but she could never come close to measuring up to Sally Fields! I think there are so many other better actresses that could be Frog. Billy Ray could do a pretty good job as Snowman I think.
