With Pontiac on its way out, why not take a look around a Pontiac lot?

When was the last time you were on the lot of a Pontiac dealership? Not too many people seem to be interested in the offerings Pontiac has had for the past 28 or so years. Has that kept you from checking anything out in person?

1. Will never forget the very first fourth gen TA I ever saw sitting on the lot in Tallahassee, that rare and ridiculously beautiful green color. I was 100% sure they could never top the GTA. Man I was way, way off. They instantaneously turned the 3rd gen in to an antique (a beautiful one), so then the question became holy jees, how can they top THIS? Well if the new Camaro is any indication, it turns out the 4th gen WAS the pinnacle. You see alot of junky ones these days, and even those'll make you stop and stare but those well kept low miles 4th gen TA's are arguably the best looking "sports" cars in existence. Saw a picture recently of a Collectors Edition sitting next to a Lamborghini Diablo and there really was no question which was more of a looker. Everything is perfect on the car, they didn't need to change one single thing.

Yeah, Pontiac has always been hyper-obsessed with style in every single one of their models, which is probably why they're pretty much a niche. Having their own engines would be the ultimate but it of course was not sustainable, and now as it turns out neither was Pontiac. But that doesn't mean the future isn't bright for current owners ... oh hell no! I personally am thankful for every single model and for every single year that Pontiac existed. But I am not ashamed to admit that Chevy had its share of lookers of the years! (although once you go Pontiac, you never go back!)
