Pontiac Says Don't Worry, We're Not Going Anywhere

Today, we asked Pontiac for an official statement on the industry talk that Pontiac will no longer exist as a Division of General Motors and that all of the great Pontiac cars like the GTO, Trans Am, and Grand Prix will never have the chance to once again rule America's roads.


Here's what Jim Hopson of Pontiac told us, "Incorrect.  There was nothing in the new plan that changes Pontiac's status.  In the future, Pontiac will be tightly focused on youthful sporty cars within an integrated Buick-Pontiac-GMC retail channel."
