Pontiac Fans Are Furious

      Ignoring the call from Pontiac loyalists and fans to create a new Trans Am based upon the same body architecture as the 2010 Camaro, GM has forced Pontiac to create the the G3, a rebadged Chevy Aveo that is equally as horrendous as the pathetic Daewoo-based Pontiac Lemans that GM thought was a great idea in the late 1980s.

      With the G3, GM has proved that it does not care about making Pontiac a niche brand of performance vehicles. The Chevy Aveo the G3 is based on has received unamiously negative reviews. Putting a Pontiac front fascia on the car will not make it a Trans Am.

Wake up GM. Build what the people want. Build Trans Ams.

1. See still out of touch with reality!

We can't count on GM leadership to do the right things. Somebody needs to stop this madness! We don't need another POS, we need sound business choices and a future marketing plan that will work, not just the same old crap. GM leadership has no idea what to do so they are just throwing whatever they can at the problem to stop the bleeding. It hasn't worked so far and it isn't going to work in the future.

What we need is some new thinking, innovative in it process and it's ideas. Moving forward must be done with some fresh thinking, fresh leadership from outside the rank lines of GM managers who have been brought up in the same corporate atmosphere as the current leadership of GM. Times have changed, they changed long before this crisis, and it took GM till now to falter hard enough for people to notice. The way things have been done for decades can not stand as the way things will be done for decades. GM must change with the times, from the way they build cars to the way they sell and service cars it must change and it must change NOW!
