GM's statement to Congress is that Pontiac will NOT be one of its four core brands. Sources say that Pontiac will be cut down to one or two niche vehicles, and that these Pontiacs won't ever be sold at Pontiac dealerships, because there won't be any, you'll have to go to a Chevrolet dealership to buy a niche Pontiac.
