GM CEO Drives A Chevy Volt Mule to DC Hearings

That's right...we already have an extremely fuel efficient vehicle!



Part of this whole bail out thing asks the "Big Three" to come up with an alternative fuel vehicle for mass production. Ford suddenly came up with a handful of idea, no word from Chrysler, GM was in the GREEN. General Motors has been testing their new Volt for quite a while. If you aren't familiar with the Volt, look it up. It's quite impressive and promising, possibly too little too late, though.

Rick Wagoner, the CEO of GM was slated to drive a new Malibu Hybrid to the senate hearings, but decided to flex some muscle. He took a Chevy Volt, on a Cruze body instead.

It's good to know that the Volt architecture can be used inside different bodies, giving it more flexibility.
