Jerry Reed, the country music superstar who co-starred in "Smokey and the Bandit" with Burt Reynolds died today.

Best known by Pontiac fans for his role of Snowman in "Smokey and the the Bandit," Jerry Reed sang many of the songs for the Smokey and the Bandit soundtrack. He also co-starred in Smokey and the Bandit II and Smokey and the Bandit III.
