16. SLP has not enraged all of it's former / current owners by using the Firehawk name. I say more power to them... they are giving performance car fans yet another 500hp car to add to the list when considering a new car. And don't think for a minute that SLP won't do work on the new Camaro as a result of the R&D on the G8 upgrade.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. Plain and simple. It isn't devaluing f-body Firehawks, isn't making them slower, isn't making them less special and isn't making them less appealing to the their owners.

18. i was excited to see the new firehawk i love those car i would love to turn my 02 firebird in to a firehawk i sayt bring back the trans am's and the firehwak's asap

20. I own a Trans Am WS6 and a G8 GXP.. These two cars couldn't be more different...Why not try GT-X/GT-S or something of that nature? I'm glad SLP is trying to improve the G8, but they didn't give any thought to the name....There is a whole lot of tradition and loyalty associated with the T/A and Pontiac in general...Nice try SLP but do everyone a favor and change the name...
