The Rolex Grand Am series heads to Miami.

Be sure to tune into Speed Channel at 6:00pm for the Gainsco Grand Prix of Miami. The race will be held at 3:00pm and aired at a later time. The racers will have to negotiate the 2.3-mile, 11-turn speedway road course of Homestead Miami Speedway.

The multiple Pontiac teams will be competing in Daytona Prototype class to best Jon Fogarty and his team in their Gainsco Pontiac Riley. Currently, there are four Pontiacs in the top five after the Rolex 24-hours of Daytona in January.

Pontiac GXP.R drivers Kelly Collins and Paul Edwards are looking to make up the points they missed out during the Rolex 24. The GT class has become ultra-competitive and it will be a tough fight to defeat the mighty Porsches and Mazdas.
