For many people, it's about the experience. Most of us just love to be around cars, and being surrounded by excellent, American machines is a thrill all in itself. What makes the experience more personal, though, is when there are make specific shows. It's almost like the show speaks to you in a different way. A show at your local fair grounds with a '34 Ford a ways down the row and a Hemi 'Cuda across from you isn't the same as a Pontiac-only show.
What brings you out to the show? Some of us own very rare Pontiacs. It's tough to justify bringing a concours restored rare Pontiac out of it's safe haven and into the real world. A world where parking lot dings and rock chips are an everyday hazard. I know I come out to meet and talk with the people who share the same passion and hobby as me. Pontiac owners seems to be a lot closer than Chevy and Ford guys. There are less of us, and our cars are way cooler! See you out at the shows.
