After a year of testing under their belt, Banner Racing sets out to win big with the GXP.R this season.

Following the success of the Pontiac GTO in road racing, another LS-powered Pontiac made its way to the track last season, the GXP.R. This new chassis provided Banner Racing with a highly competitive racer out of the box. Competing against the likes of Porsche 911, Mazda's venerable RX8, and Corvettes, the GXP.R's success' last season proved that it has serious winning potential.

This year, Banner Racing would like to take what they learned last season and apply that to a drivers championship. They would also like to take home the manufacturer's championship for Pontiac. That's going to be tougher this season thanks to a growing GT field. There are a few new faces on the track from Ferrari and BMW. Each of these manufacturers could stand in their way to victory, just as Porsche battled for last season.

Keep your eyes open for more news on the Banner Racing program.
