Here is HPP’s May 2008 cover car on the Pontiac dealer’s lot in 1977, the day it was purchased!

Subscribers should be getting the issue very soon and it will hit the newsstand on 2/19/08. These two photos were actually located by the original owner, Steven Cayce, after the magazine had shipped so you can only find them here. You may notice that this Goldenrod Yellow W72 T/A actually has red interior. No Pontiac didn’t offer it that way. This Bird was special ordered and it took a lot of work to get Pontiac to agree to build it with that color combo. You can get all the details on this Factory Freak in the May 2008 issue of HPP.

Try getting a combo like that these days, they don't even offer a choice anymore. Just light gray, gray, dark gray and black, maybe beige... but red, green, blue or white fagettaboutit!
